Where does the meat come from?

At Yorkshire Dales Meat Company the meat we use is sourced, where possible, from local suppliers or reputable farms across Yorkshire and the UK, by our experienced team of buyers. We have a network of trusted suppliers who we have used for over 20 years in order to supply our catering customers.

Is your meat fresh and can I freeze it?

The majority of our produce is delivered fresh and is suitable for home freezing.

Any products that we despatch frozen will be clearly advertised as 'previously frozen' and detailed within the product description. These products will defrost in transit and cannot be refrozen.

Are your products gluten free?

We proudly offer a wide selection of fresh meat produce that is naturally gluten-free.

We also produce a Gluten Free sausages, made by our butchers, at Yorkshire Dales Meat Company. However, please note that our gluten-free sausages are produced in a factory that handles gluten. While every effort is made to prevent cross contamination, we recommend customers with severe gluten allergies exercise caution. 

Where can I find the ingredient and allergen information?

The ingredients and allergens can be found on the product label.  Any allergens are also available on the website alongside the product information. If you require any further details ahead of placing your order please don't hesitate to contact us on the email address below.

Can I order meat to be delivered as a gift?

Yes you can! We can deliver to a friend or family member. A copy of the invoice will NOT be included in the order, but will be sent to you directly. Please be advised you will need to leave delivery instructions should your recipient be out and it is best to advise them they will be receiving a delivery!

Gift vouchers are also available to purchase via the website.

Do you deliver outside the UK?

Apologies but we do not currently deliver outside of the UK.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

All our parcels are delivered within 24-48 hours depending upon your location.

How do you deliver?

At Yorkshire Dales Meat Company we deliver fresh produce throughout the UK. We will deliver either via our own fleet of vans locally or by DPD Courier Tuesday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).

Where do you deliver?

We deliver all over the UK including many parts of Highland Scotland.

Unfortunately, we do not currently deliver outside of the UK or to any two-day postcodes (Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Scottish Highlands, Isle of Wight). 

How will my order arrive?

It will arrive in one of our cardboard boxes, which is made from recycled cardboard and is 100% biodegradable. Once you open your parcel you will find a cool box made from moulded foam. All the boxes we send out need to maintain a food safe chilled temperature for 48 hours, to do this we place ice packs within the box. These are totally food safe and can also be refrozen to use again. We vacuum pack most cuts of whole meat and tray wrap all sausages and burgers. The vac packing removes the oxygen to keep the product in the best possible condition.

On the outside of every packet which you receive, you will also find details of the product, the use by date and any allergens and ingredients.

Is your packaging recyclable? 

Your delivery will arrive in a polystyrene box and is enclosed in a cardboard box to protect your good in transit.

The polystyrene box, can be reused as a cool box, but recycling would depend on you local authority. 

The cardboard can be recycled with your household cardboard and is 100% biodegradable.

I have a gift card/voucher but it is not working?

If you are trying to enter a gift code and it doesn't work, we recommend, initially that you refresh the web page. If this still doesn't work, then please contact us on 01748 810042 and we will be happy to help.

My order has not arrived, what shall I do? 

If your delivery has not arrived by the specified date/time please call our team the following morning on 01748 810042 and they can track your order.
